Who doesn't love a good piece of Whitby Jet? 

This fabulous, and probably unique, Victorian necklace features a faceted Whitby jet pendant on a necklace of faceted black glass beads which culminates in a gold plated clasp & adjustable chain. 

Dating to the late victorian era when mourning style jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria, this necklace is a wonderful statement piece. 

It measures 17 inches minimum length & 19 inches maximum length. It is in excellent condition.
